The Challenge

The Ghana Elite Entertainment company was created to engage a mature, sophisticated, and chic crowd who appreciate the rich African culture and its music. Their events are tailored to promote collective fun where one can enjoy their friends, spouse, and parents under the same roof.

When they approached Atarah Software, they were looking to create a website that reflected its goal and mission. They wanted to showcase the sophistication and excitement of their events and provide their audience with a way to learn more and engage with the Ghana Elite brand.

 

The Solution

Working with the Ghana Elite team, Atarah Software designed, developed and launched a new version of GhanaEliteEnt.com built on WordPress with responsive web design, engaging tools and features and an e-commerce shopping platform.

Using both custom developed tools as well as premium plugins, the website features the following:

KIPP Columbus

The Challenge

KIPP Columbus is a growing region of the Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP) network of charter schools. Located in Columbus, Ohio, this KIPP region began as a single charter school: KIPP Journey Academy. With plans to add additional schools, the organization needed a website that would reflect the values of KIPP while attracting teachers, donors and students’ families.

 

The Solution

Atarah Software designed and built a powerful website using WordPress as the content management system. By providing flexible tools, the website allows the organization to enroll students, accept applications from teachers and influence donors to act, all the while, managing the operations in-house. In August 2014, KIPP Columbus Elementary becomes the region’s second school. With its addition, KIPP Columbus is realizing its mission of creating a system of schools where students develop the intellectual, academic and social skills needed to understand and take action on issues they encounter in everyday life.

KIPP New Jersey

The Challenge

In order to fulfill KIPP New Jersey’s mission, they must hire a highly dedicated staff and enlist the support of private philanthropy. The website would have to be a powerful tool in facilitating that effort. It would need to be visually engaging, integrate with the rest of KIPP New Jersey’s marketing efforts and should be easy to edit in-house.

 

The Solution

Working with KIPP New Jersey’s Marketing Director, Atarah Software built a highly customized WordPress theme, which made content management as easy as writing a Word document. KIPP New Jersey provided all content and designs the mock-ups and graphics. The result is a visually engaging destination that attracts potential teachers, donors and students’ families. Within the KIPP family, KIPP New Jersey’s website has become the crown jewel and model for other regions.

The Challenge

KPS Sports is a full-service agency that represents professional baseball players and sports officials. Clients include some of the premier young talent in baseball and the most prominent associations of sports officials, including the National Basketball Referees Association and the Professional Soccer Referees Association.

At the time, they were breaking into the world of sports and entertainment representation. Focusing on Career Management, Marketing and Public Relations, KPS Sports needed an exciting marketing website that would both inform and attract potential clients and give them the professional look they needed to be taken seriously.

 

The Solution

Working with KPS Sports and an external design partner, Atarah Software built the agency’s first website using WordPress as the content management system. We developed a responsive web design theme that provided great flexibility and customization. Working with an excellent web designer, the KPS site looked vibrant and feature rich and immediately stood out.

The Challenge

The National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) was formed by a coalition of 17 local organizations of African American professionals and consultants from many cities across the country. They are committed to expanding the presence and leadership abilities in minority talent at all levels, across all industries, both nationally and globally.

To meet these and additional goals, the newly formed New Jersey chapter enlisted Atarah Software’s help to create a platform to promote their activities including providing conferences, symposiums and other opportunities for professional development, bringing broader exposure of the HR profession to African American constituents.

 

The Solution

Working with the NAAAHR New Jersey chapter, Atarah Software designed, developed and launched NAAAHRNJ.org. It’s built on WordPress with responsive web design and engaging tools and features.

Using both custom developed tools as well as premium plugins, the website features an Event Calendar, photo gallery, a Member’s ONLY portal as well as webinar, membership and sponsorship information.
