The Challenge

The Wall Street Alphas Charitable Foundation, Inc. (WSACF) was formed to engage in activities that promote human rights and develop the leadership and strategic capabilities within the African & Latino-American community. With a mission to engage minority and under served communities, the foundation needed a website that would promote it’s activities and provide donors with an opportunity to support the non-profit financially.

 

The Solution

Atarah Software designed, developed and launched WSACF.org. The website is built on WordPress with responsive web design.

In addition to the vibrant design and content, the site uses PayPal to collect donations.

The Challenge

The Kappa Xi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is also known as the Wall Street Alphas. Since it’s re-chartering in 2002, the chapter has served New York City’s communities through community service, advocacy and leadership remaining true to the mission of the 108-year-old fraternity. The Wall Street Alphas needed a website that would positively promote this mission and its efforts in fulfilling it. Having built a strong brand though it’s programming and events, the website would need to reflect the excellence the Fraternity and Chapter had become known for.

 

The Solution

Working with the Brothers of Kappa Xi Lambda, Atarah Software provided web design and development services and delivered a visually engaging website. The site provides detailed information on the history of the Fraternity and the Chapter. In addition, it markets the programs the Wall Street Alphas provide every year. By developing a customized WordPress theme, Atarah has give the Wall Street Alphas chapter the ability to manage the website in-house and provide information on their current activities. The site has been a hit in the local and national BGLO community and has reinforced the brand and reputation the Chapter has so carefully built.

The Challenge

The Rho Nu Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was founded in the Southwestern Region to serve the thriving community of Carrollton, Texas, part of the metropolitan area of Dallas.

As Brothers networked and participated in many civic activities in Carrollton, the need for an online platform to promote these activities persisted. The goal was to reach the local community and organize Brothers living in the Carrollton, Lewisville, and Flower Mound area.

 

The Solution

Working with the Brothers of Rho Nu Lambda, Atarah Software has designed, developed and relaunched RhoNuLambda1906.org on separate occasions to keep up with the pace and evolution of modern design and technology. Building on WordPress provided a solid platform to customize the site to the chapter’s needs using responsive web design and an assortment of plugins and other tools.

The Challenge

The National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) was organized to create a network among minorities who are employed by insurance companies or self-employed in the insurance industry. The New York chapter’s mission is to create a network of insurance professionals within the Tri-State area to foster career and business opportunities.

As a result, they needed a website that helped them achieve these goals and promoted the insurance industry by marketing a variety of educational, civic, and social activities that support career advancement and business development to minority communities in the NYC / Tri-State area.

 

The Solution

Atarah Software designed, developed and launched a new version of NAAIANewYork.org built on WordPress with responsive web design and engaging tools and features.

Using both custom developed tools as well as premium plugins, the website features the following an Event Calendar, a Career Resource Center as well as other educational resources and membership and sponsorship information.

The National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) was formed by a coalition of 17 local organizations of African American professionals and consultants from many cities across the country. They are committed to expanding the presence and leadership abilities in minority talent at all levels, across all industries, both nationally and globally.

To meet these and additional goals, the newly formed New Jersey chapter enlisted Atarah Software’s help to create a platform to promote their activities including providing conferences, symposiums and other opportunities for professional development, bringing broader exposure of the HR profession to African American constituents.
